Esta condici\u00f3n impacta nuestra movilidad y balance , lo que nos puede llevar a aumentar nuestro riesgo de ca\u00eddas y fracturas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">En menopausia, esta condici\u00f3n no solo afecta a mujeres en edad avanzada pero tambi\u00e9n aquellas que est\u00e1n en mediana edad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Seg\u00fan estudios [1] las mujeres podemos llegar a perder 3% a 8% de la masa muscular cada d\u00e9cada despu\u00e9s de los 30&#8217;s, y se acelera de 5% a 10% despu\u00e9s de pasar nuestros 50 a\u00f1os. Suele comenzar en los 40 a\u00f1os, pero puede empezar en los 30. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Durante esta fase, los ovarios producen menos estr\u00f3geno, causando fluctuaciones hormonales y s\u00edntomas como ciclos menstruales irregulares, sofocos, sudores nocturnos, cambios de humor, problemas de sue\u00f1o y sequedad vaginal. La perimenopausia dura varios a\u00f1os hasta la menopausia, que se confirma tras 12 meses sin menstruaci\u00f3n.
